System Engineer / MNC/ Central / Perm/ L2 support

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, cloud platforms, orchestration and automation technologies.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365 and cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
• Manage and support virtualisation platforms, including Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware, ensuring system availability and performance.
• Manage Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) environments, with experience in Nutanix preferred.
• Administer and maintain backup and recovery solutions, including Veeam, Veritas or other enterprise backup platforms.
• Support cloud infrastructure and services, including Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS, as well as cloud-based backup solutions.
• Perform software licensing, certificate management and activation, ensuring compliance and timely renewal of licenses and certificates.
• Provide support for network infrastructure, with a good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and basic network security concepts.
• Assist with the administration and troubleshooting of security-related infrastructure and controls, ensuring systems are secure and compliant with company standards.
• Support Cisco collaboration and VoIP solutions, such as CUCM, Webex and related technologies, where required.
• Work closely with internal teams, vendors and service providers to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Stay adaptable and demonstrate the ability to learn and support new technologies as the organisation's infrastructure and technology landscape evolves.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of IT Operations experience, especially in the area of System Infrastructure and Cloud solution.
• Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and urgency
• Diligent in documentation, reporting and tasks tracking ability
• Possess analytical skills to be able to solve issues and ability to work independently and cope with pressure
• Time management, good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with customer friendly attitude and ability to work in a team environment
