What they need
We are a fast-growing deep-tech startup entering a rapid market expansion phase, developing innovative technologies for monitoring and analyzing electrical infrastructure. We are looking for an exceptional System Engineer with strong technical curiosity, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly master new domains.
This is not a traditional Systems Engineering role.
We are looking for an engineer who enjoys solving complex real-world problems, working across multiple disciplines, and challenging conventional assumptions to develop innovative solutions.
Our systems combine sensing, RF, hardware, firmware, software, communications, and data analytics, requiring both broad system-level thinking and the ability to dive deep into technical details.
Working closely with the System Architect, you will be at the heart of the engineering effort, driving activities from system requirements and solution definition through integration, testing, failure analysis, and verification.
What You'll Do
- Translate system requirements and architecture into detailed engineering designs
- Lead cross-functional interfaces between Hardware, Firmware, Software, RF & Sensing, and Communications teams
- Define system behavior, interfaces, and operational scenarios
- Analyze complex system-level challenges and drive engineering solutions
- Design sensing, measurement, and data-processing systems
- Lead system integration, verification & validation (V&V), and root-cause investigations
- Directly influence product architecture and the next generation of technology
What We're Looking For
- B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in complex system development and/or systems engineering
- Strong self-learning capabilities and ability to rapidly adopt new technologies
- Experience writing requirements, specifications, and design documentation
- Strong systems-thinking mindset combined with attention to technical detail
- Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines simultaneously
- Ability to lead technical initiatives in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment
Significant Advantage
- Experience with complex physical systems
- Experience with sensing, measurement, and monitoring systems
- Experience with RF and sensing technologies
- Experience in Data Analytics
- Experience in energy systems, critical infrastructure, or electric power networks
- Familiarity with MV/HV systems
- Familiarity with industrial control, automation, and SCADA systems
Who Will Thrive in This Role?
People who are driven to understand how things really work.
People who enjoy connecting physics, engineering, and technology to solve difficult problems and who want to make a meaningful impact on innovative products in a growing deep-tech company.
