Job Description

Join a dynamic team supporting the MineStar Fleet Application , enabling autonomous trucks and staff vehicles at mining sites. This role is primarily focused on testing engineering (SIL) with integrated IT software components . The position involves working with virtual machines, fleet management systems, and simulation environments replicating real mining conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support the MineStar Fleet Application for autonomous trucks and staff vehicles.
• Enable autonomous operations using Command for Hauling and MineStar Fleet applications.
• Use fleet management systems to optimize productivity and data handling at worksites.
• Conduct testing in a scalability lab simulating real mining site conditions.
• Administer a dedicated server cluster using VMWare for virtual machine management.
• Manage virtual machines running Windows Server OS , Linux , and autonomy onboard software.
• Perform system upgrades to Windows Server 2022 .
• Work within an isolated VLAN segmented network dedicated to the team.

Essential Skills

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in developing and executing test plans.
• Strong proficiency in debugging and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing.
• Experience with IT software, especially VMWare .
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of Python and IP Networking .
