Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

1. - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Unix/Linux system administration
2. - Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
3. - Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Korn shell)
4. - Solid understanding of file systems, LVM, and RAID configurations
5. - Experience with system monitoring and alerting tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or similar)
6. - Working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, SSH)
7. - Experience with patching and vulnerability management processes
8. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
9. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
10. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

**Preferred Qualifications:**

1. - Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
2. - Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes basics)
3. - Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
4. - Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
5. - Experience with performance tuning and system optimization
6. - Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning
7. - Relevant Unix/Linux certifications (RHCSA, LPIC, or equivalent)
