System Implementation Project Manager

Are you an experienced project manager who can bring people, processes and technology together? At Trees for Life, we are boldly rewilding the Scottish Highlands, restoring the Caledonian forest, bringing back lost wildlife, and strengthening the bond between people and nature. We’re looking for a Systems Implementation Project Manager to lead the implementation of new HR, payroll and finance systems, helping ensure they meet the needs of our organisation and the people who use them.

You’ll work with colleagues across Finance, HR, IT and Fundraising, as well as our software providers, to guide the project from planning through to launch and post-implementation support. You’ll help teams understand how the new systems will work, prepare for changes to processes and feel confident using them.

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of HR, payroll and finance systems, including planning and coordinating related workstreams.
• Work with colleagues to understand organisational needs and turn them into effective system solutions.
• Manage software providers, project scope, timelines, budgets and supplier milestones.
• Prepare project plans, lead kick-off meetings and provide clear updates for internal teams and senior leaders.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies and integration needs, including data migration.
• Support organisational change and help staff adopt the new systems through training and post-launch support.
• Track project progress and costs, and help assess whether the systems deliver the intended benefits.
