System Integration Engineer/ MSI (Smart Building / BMS / IBMS)

• Position: System Integration Engineer/ MSI (Smart Building / BMS / IBMS)
• Location: International Business Park (Nearest MRT: Jurong East walking distance)
• Working hours: 5.5-day work week, office hours
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $7200 + AWS + Medical/ Dental Allowance
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Building Automation / Smart Building / IBMS / Engineering

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Smart Building, IBMS and digital platform integration requirements.
• Conduct customer workshops to understand operational and business needs.
• Prepare and maintain software requirement specifications, use cases and functional requirements.
• Manage requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the main liaison between clients, consultants, vendors and internal teams.
• Coordinate solution alignment across BMS, digital platforms and third-party systems.
• Support integration governance, testing readiness and issue follow-up.
• Coordinate UAT activities and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Review testing status, defects and operational readiness before handover.
• Support transition to maintenance teams after project delivery.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Building Services, Building Automation, IT, Computer Science, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in BMS, IBMS, smart building solutions, system integration or digital building platforms.
• Good understanding of building systems, ACMV, chiller plant operations, energy monitoring and building automation.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, basic networking, APIs or data exchange concepts will be advantageous.
• Experience in requirements gathering, project coordination, testing, commissioning or solution delivery will be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
• Able to coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and internal departments.
• Experience in healthcare, data centre, mega projects or critical environments will be advantageous.
