System Executive – Job Description

Job Title: System Executive
Department: IT / Information Technology
Reports To: IT Manager / System Administrator

Job Summary

The System Executive is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s computer systems, networks, software, hardware, and IT infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, managing system users and access, ensuring data security, and providing day-to-day IT support to employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN networks and internet connectivity.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network problems.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Perform system updates, patches, backups, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain antivirus, firewall, and other security systems.
• Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT service requests.
• Maintain IT asset records and documentation.
• Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, software, networking, and maintenance.
• Ensure regular data backups and assist with recovery procedures.
• Follow company IT policies and information-security procedures.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 or similar productivity platforms.
• Understanding of system security and data backup.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and support multiple users.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–5 years in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
