System Support Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering or related fields,
• Experience in system support, software installation, maintenance or similar technical roles,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems,
• Working knowledge of networking, databases and IT infrastructure,
• Familiarity with Python/Bash, Docker and system log analysis,
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills,
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn,
• No travel restrictions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Supporting on-site and remote software installations, configurations and version upgrades,
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting software and system-related issues,
• Analyzing system logs and supporting root-cause analysis using Python, Bash or monitoring tools,
• Supporting the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Docker-based systems,
• Performing basic database health checks and supporting backup and recovery operations,
• Identifying and resolving hardware-software integration issues, particularly in camera and recognition systems,
• Reporting software bugs, technical issues and customer improvement requests,
• Monitoring support records and preparing relevant technical documentation,
• Providing technical support and training to internal teams and end users,
• Supporting internal IT operations when required.
