System Validation Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on System Validation Engineer to join our team and work at both our Yokneam (YK) and Kfar Saba (KS) sites.

The position is suitable for an Electrical Engineer or Practical Electrical Engineer with a software background , or a candidate with equivalent hands-on experience. The candidate should have a good understanding of both hardware and software and be comfortable troubleshooting system-level issues.

The role combines system validation, hardware/software debugging, production support, and failure analysis . The candidate will work closely with R&D, production, and other engineering teams to identify problems, determine root causes, and drive issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level validation and functional testing of complex hardware and software systems.
• Support production lines with hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Investigate failures from production and validation environments and identify root causes.
• Reproduce and debug hardware and software issues.
• Work closely with R&D and production teams to resolve technical issues and verify fixes.
• Execute functional, stability, regression, and performance testing.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test procedures.
• Use existing scripts and tools, and make basic code modifications when required for testing and troubleshooting.
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, mustimeter’s, and other test equipment.
• Document test procedures, failures, troubleshooting steps, and results.
• Support new product introduction, system integration, and production ramp-up activities.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Practical Electrical Engineer – Required.
• Basic understanding of software, scripting, and system-level software/hardware interaction – Required .
• Ability to read and understand existing code and scripts, make basic modifications, analyse logs, and use software tools for troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to understand system architecture and troubleshoot interactions between hardware and software.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues from identification through resolution.
• Willingness and ability to work at both Yokneam and Kfar Saba sites – Required ( the position will be mainly at Yokneam site) .
• Strong willingness to learn new hardware and software systems.
