Field Service / Systems Support Specialist

Location: New York, NY to start, with future relocation to Florida

We are working on a great infrastructure support opportunity for someone who wants to build their career in a hands-on technical role and eventually relocate to Florida.

This role starts in New York City , where you will learn the environment, the team, the tools, and the support model. After that, the plan is for this person to relocate to Florida and become a key onsite technology resource for a growing operation.

This is a fun role for the right person. It is not sitting behind a ticket queue all day. It is hands-on, onsite, people-facing, and close to the infrastructure team.

You will support users, troubleshoot systems, help with field issues, assist with basic network administration, and become part of a team that is actively expanding.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide onsite field service and systems support
• Support Windows and Mac laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and conference room technology
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, authentication, and access issues
• Support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoom, and collaboration tools
• Help with basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, switch ports, access points, DHCP/DNS, and general connectivity
• Assist with device deployments, refreshes, imaging, moves, adds, changes, and equipment setup
• Work closely with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams
• Learn the environment in NYC and bring that knowledge to a growing Florida operation
• Document common issues, fixes, site details, and escalation paths
• Own problems through resolution and communicate clearly with users and the technical team

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of desktop support, field service, systems support, or end-user technology support experience
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting with Windows and macOS
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, switch ports, and general connectivity troubleshooting
• Experience with printers, mobile devices, peripherals, conference rooms, AV, or onsite technology
• Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Someone dependable, professional, and willing to jump in where needed
• Interest in relocating to Florida after learning the environment in NYC

Nice to Have

• Experience in a multi-site environment
• Exposure to Cisco Meraki, Cisco switches, access points, or similar network tools
• Experience with Jamf, Intune, Apple Business Manager, or endpoint management tools
• Experience supporting iPads, Chromebooks, Macs, Windows laptops, or shared technology environments
• Prior experience with new site openings, office moves, field support, or technology rollouts
