Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and business applications.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and infrastructure health.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and server-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Perform routine system updates, patches, backups, and recovery testing.
• Maintain system documentation and technical procedures.
• Support virtualization, cloud services, and network infrastructure as needed.
• Apply security best practices and assist with incident response.
• Coordinate with IT teams and vendors to resolve complex technical problems.

Requirements

• Experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, or a related role.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with backup solutions, system monitoring, and patch management.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple technical requests.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Understanding of endpoint security and access management.
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent experience.
