Systems Administrator - IBM z/OS

Job Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, coding, and improving software components that integrate seamlessly across various systems or applications. The role requires working within an agile environment to develop scalable and efficient solutions that meet unique business requirements. Collaboration with different teams and continuous enhancement of software functionalities are key aspects of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members to ensure project milestones are met.
• Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project quality and timelines.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM z/OS Systems Administration with at least 5 years of work experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in any IT related field.

• Strong knowledge of mainframe operating systems and their management.

• Experience with system performance tuning and capacity planning.

• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline system administration tasks.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.

• Proficient in managing system security and compliance standards.

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php130,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• IBM z/OS: 5 years (Required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Taguig
