Systems Analyst/Programmer

Job Summary

Responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation, and troubleshooting of computerized systems supporting production and operational processes (e.g., SAP and other enterprise applications). Ensures system functionality, data integrity, transaction accuracy, and alignment with business process requirements. Provides technical and functional support to end-users and coordinates with vendors for system enhancements and issue resolution

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs analysis of user information, data, report, and process requirements, particularly related to production and operational workflows.
• Prepares functional and programming specifications for applicable computerized systems.
• Conducts business process reviews and recommends appropriate system solutions or process improvements.
• Designs and develops applications or system enhancements based on approved specifications
• Analyzes and resolves system-related issues affecting production transactions and workflow processes.
• Performs root cause analysis on system errors, data discrepancies, and transaction failures.
• Ensures data accuracy, system integrity, and proper configuration of system parameters.
• Monitors system performance and recommends corrective or preventive measures to avoid operational disruptions
• Prepares cost and budget analysis for system improvements and provides recommendations on software and hardware solutions.
• Plans, organizes, and controls system implementation activities to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Performs project management activities to manage deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.
• Conducts system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure completeness and quality prior to implementation
• Prepares system documentation, training materials, user manuals, procedures, and flowcharts.
• Conducts training, orientation, and system briefings to ensure effective user adoption
• Coordinates with external vendors regarding development, enhancements, and issue resolution of vendor-supplied applications.
• Ensures proper validation and acceptance of vendor-delivered solutions before go-live
• Recommends process automation and system improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Performs other related duties as directed by the Section Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and production system support.
• Experience supporting ERP systems
• Experience in troubleshooting transaction-related issues and system configuration.
• Experience in system implementation and user training is an advantage
• Strong understanding of business process mapping and system flow analysis.
• Familiarity with database concepts and system integration

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
