We are hiring on behalf of our client, an Australian Technology Service Provider specializing in managed IT services, cloud solutions, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, and business communications across Australia.

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Systems & Cloud Support Engineer – L2+ to join our growing Managed Services team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide L1/L2 technical support and handle selected L3 escalations.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Microsoft Intune.
• Monitor and maintain Windows servers, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and network environments.
• Manage RMM tools, preferably NinjaOne, for monitoring, patching, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor backups, perform restoration activities, and support disaster recovery readiness.
• Identify security risks, recurring incidents, and infrastructure issues before they impact customers.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and asset inventories.
• Take ownership of technical issues and recommend improvements through automation and proactive maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows Server, and endpoint management.
• Practical knowledge of Azure, Intune, RMM platforms, and hybrid IT environments.
• Experience troubleshooting networks, firewalls, VPNs, and virtualisation technologies.
• Knowledge of backup solutions, endpoint security, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise incidents, and take ownership from investigation through resolution.
• Experience in an MSP/TSP environment and supporting Australian business customers will be an advantage.

Nice to Have

PowerShell scripting, NinjaOne automation, Microsoft Defender, Fortinet/Check Point firewalls, Veeam, Linux, Proxmox, and relevant Microsoft or networking certifications.
