The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Systems & Enterprise Engineer to join Intuit Technologies on a full-time fixed-term contract. This role will be embedded within a customer environment, working primarily onsite as part of a dedicated technology team. You will act as a trusted technical resource, providing systems administration, infrastructure support, end-user support and operational management across a broad range of technologies.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of outcomes and is comfortable working across both infrastructure and end-user environments. You'll work closely with customer stakeholders, internal technical teams and external vendors to maintain reliable, secure and efficient technology services. The role presents an excellent opportunity to work across enterprise technologies while building strong operational relationships and contributing to a high-performing technology function.

This is not a junior position. We're looking for someone with proven systems administration or infrastructure support experience who can work independently, make sound decisions and take ownership of technical issues through to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite systems administration and technical support across infrastructure and end-user environments.
• Manage and resolve technical issues, service requests and operational tasks.
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online and Intune.
• Administer user accounts, groups, devices and access permissions.
• Support business applications, collaboration platforms and end-user computing services.
• Maintain system security, patching, vulnerability remediation and platform health.
• Support VMware, Windows Server, storage, backup and core infrastructure platforms.
• Assist with network, connectivity and remote access troubleshooting.
• Work closely with customer stakeholders, vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational standards.
• Participate in maintenance activities, operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant IT qualifications (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years working in systems administration, infrastructure support or enterprise IT environments.
• Strong experience across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange Online.
• Experience supporting endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune.
• Experience supporting virtualisation platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi.
• Understanding of storage, backup and disaster recovery technologies.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals including switching, firewalls, VPNs and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management, endpoint security and remediation activities.
• Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and manage technical issues through to completion.
• Microsoft certifications and relevant infrastructure certifications will be highly regarded.

You are technically capable, customer focused and comfortable working across both strategic and operational activities. You communicate clearly, build trusted relationships and remain calm under pressure. You don't simply resolve issues as they arise.
