POSITION SUMMARY

The Systems Development Analyst I supports the Systems Development team by analyzing business processes, preparing reports, maintaining documentation, assisting with data review, and supporting workflow improvement projects. This role works closely with Systems Development, IT, and business departments to help improve data accuracy, reporting visibility, and operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Assist with analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes and workflows.

· Create and maintain reports by consolidating data from multiple internal sources.

· Use Microsoft Excel and basic SQL to extract, clean, organize, and validate data.

· Support internal database and reporting tools, including MS Access, SQL Server, and related applications.

· Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and documenting data-related issues.

· Maintain internal documentation, work instructions, and knowledge-base materials.

· Support data integrity efforts by identifying inconsistencies and escalating concerns.

· Collaborate with users to gather basic requirements and confirm requested outcomes.

· Protect confidential information and follow firm, client, and security standards.

· Maintain regular time and attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

· Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

· Entry-level to 1 year of systems, data, reporting, or business analysis experience preferred.

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills; exposure to macros, formulas, and data visualization preferred.

· Basic SQL knowledge or ability to learn query writing, data extraction, and manipulation.

· Basic understanding of database structures; MS Access, SQL Server, or MySQL exposure preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn internal systems, compliance requirements, and legal operations workflows.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

· Commitment to confidentiality, data security, and compliance with firm and client requirements.
