Systems Engineer — AGV/AMR / Robotics / Automation

POSITION SUMMARY

The Systems Engineer serves as the technical integration leader (own it) responsible for developing next-generation material handling solutions by connecting mechanical, electrical, controls, embedded software, manufacturing, and customer requirements. Working across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Applications, this individual drives system architecture, integration, validation, and commercialization of innovative powered and autonomous products.

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS (%)

Systems Architecture & Integration (35%)

• Translate customer requirements into complete system solutions.
• Define system architecture and subsystem interfaces.
• Lead multidisciplinary integration activities.
• Perform requirements management and system validation.

Product Development & Commercialization (25%)

• Lead new product development from concept through launch.
• Support prototype development and testing.
• Improve product reliability and manufacturability.
• Drive continuous product improvement.

Cross-Functional Engineering Leadership (20%)

• Partner with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Service.
• Provide technical leadership during design reviews.
• Support customer applications and field issue resolution.

Technology & Innovation (20%)

• Evaluate emerging technologies.
• Support AGV/AMR initiatives.
• Improve engineering processes.
• Advance automation and intelligent material handling solutions.
