Systems Engineer

About the role

Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructures. Implement network solutions that support business growth and scalability, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructures
• Implement routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches
• Troubleshoot and resolve network outages, connectivity and latency issues, and hardware and configuration problems
• Provide Level 2 / Level 3 network support
• Implement network security controls including firewalls, access control lists (ACLs), and VPNs
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security standards
• Support incident response and remediation efforts related to network security
• Maintain documentation for network topology, configuration standards, and operating procedures

CCNA certification is preferred but not required.
