THE OPPORTUNITY

Banner Defense is seeking a skilled, motivated Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Chief Engineer in transforming the way in which the agency approaches engineering. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and is interested in using them to help move the agency away from document-driven engineering.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist with capturing and developing new system models to become the backbone for how MDA will approach future engineering efforts
• Leverage your skills with a variety of MBSE tools
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to collaborate on models.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field and 7+ years of experience
• Active DoD Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship
• Strong model-based engineering experience
• Ability to excel in a team setting
• Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains

PREFERENCE IF YOU HAVE

• Expertise in MBSE tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.)
• MDA experience
• Expertise in Command and Control (C2), data transport, Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), or interoperability.
