Would you like to take a leading role in developing advanced pump packages and process systems for some of the most exciting projects within the energy sector?

Nordic Flow is experiencing strong growth and is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team in Asker. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering robust engineering solutions, translating process requirements into practical system designs, and ensuring successful project execution from concept to delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys technical ownership, customer interaction, and working in an entrepreneurial company with ambitious growth plans.

The Role

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a central role in the technical development and delivery of pump packages and process systems, including chemical injection applications.

You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept development and specification through engineering, fabrication, testing, and final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead system design and coordinate interfaces between mechanical, process, instrumentation, and control disciplines
  • Develop and review process designs, calculations, equipment specifications, and technical documentation
  • Translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions, including pump selection and sizing
  • Support technical activities during both bid and project execution phases
  • Follow up suppliers and manage technical clarifications and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
  • Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving
  • Contribute to the development of engineering methods, standards, and best practices
  • Travel to customers, suppliers, and business partners when required

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience within oil & gas projects
  • Strong systems engineering capabilities and solid process engineering knowledge
  • Experience with fluid handling systems and pump technologies
  • The ability to independently manage technical deliveries and make sound engineering decisions
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process, Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or similar relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of offshore industry standards and regulations
  • A willingness to continuously learn and develop new technical competencies

Preferred Experience

  • Chemical injection systems and dosing packages
  • Practical, hands-on engineering or field experience

Who You Are

You are proactive, curious, and motivated by solving technical challenges. You work in a structured manner, take initiative, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You are comfortable working independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

What We Offer

  • A key technical role in a rapidly growing company
  • High degree of responsibility and influence
  • Exciting projects within renewable and traditional energy industries
  • Close collaboration with leading international customers and suppliers
  • Professional development opportunities and technical growth
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • An agile working environment with short decision-making processes
