- Administer, scale, and optimize enterprise engineering tools (CAD, BIM, PDM, PLM), ensuring templates and libraries align with global design standards.
- Develop, test, and launch engineering design automation tools (including AI-enabled solutions).
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing) to gather product requirements, address design pipeline challenges, and embed standard templates from concept to installation.
- Embed Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles into our standard engineering templates, systems, calculators, tools and design guidelines in partnership with the CoE teams.
- Assist in organizing and executing internal engineering systems audits to ensure adherence to approved workflows and quality standards.
- Assist the Data Analysts with data collection to facilitate development of Power BI dashboards for tracking team performance and engineering metrics.
Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Design or a highly related technical field.
- Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in a systems engineering, CAD/PLM administration, or technical design automation role.
- Experience working within critical or complex engineering environments is highly advantageous (e.g. data centre, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor, power generation, oil & gas or construction industry).
- Strong proficiency in enterprise engineering design platforms, particularly Onshape (preferred), SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Revit, NavisWorks and proficiency with PDM/PLM administration and governance.
- Ability to balance tactical day-to-day platform operation with long-term automation projects.
- Track record of driving awareness and adherence to standards and product/systems compliance.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills to write technical documentation and assist with engineering training.
- Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control protocols with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) in mind.
