About the Role

This role focuses on modernizing and improving IT infrastructure and authorization services through technical analysis, solution design, and stakeholder coordination. You will evaluate existing systems and processes, recommend improvements, and drive migration and modernization efforts. The position requires close collaboration with government representatives to translate requirements into actionable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze authorization services processes, procedures, and technical solutions to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
• Coordinate with government stakeholders to define requirements, constraints, schedules, and workloads
• Draft and recommend technical solutions to enhance and modernize IT infrastructure services
• Evaluate applications for requirements, capabilities, and languages in preparation for system migrations
• Produce and maintain lifecycle documentation for hardware and related processes
• Develop and maintain collaboration and information-sharing tools and repositories to support training and stakeholder outreach
• Analyze and develop processes to improve mission stakeholder knowledge and deliver actionable findings

Required Qualifications

• Experience with IT infrastructure modernization and systems engineering
• Ability to assess and document authorization services policies, procedures, and technical solutions
• Experience evaluating applications for migration readiness (requirements, languages, capabilities)
• Proficiency producing and maintaining technical lifecycle documentation
• Strong stakeholder coordination and requirements-gathering skills

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) or authorization frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and tools
• Experience implementing collaboration and knowledge-sharing platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence)
• Background in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
