Systems Engineer – IT Salesforce Platform

For our client, we are seeking a Systems Engineer – IT Salesforce Platform to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.

This role will focus on designing and supporting scalable enterprise solutions across a cloud-first environment, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce platform architecture and technical leadership. You will translate business needs into secure, reliable systems while partnering closely with engineering, business, and operations stakeholders. The position also includes mentoring team members, strengthening engineering practices, and helping drive effective delivery across complex technical initiatives.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end design and architecture of Salesforce-based solutions
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure technical solutions
• Define and enforce coding standards and best practices in Salesforce
• Act as a technical expert and mentor for the engineering team
• Oversee development activities including code reviews and release management
• Design complex integrations with enterprise systems and optimize data architecture
• Lead development of large-scale features and drive automation improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5+ years in enterprise application development, preferably in Salesforce platform engineering
• Extensive experience in solution architecture and technical leadership for large-scale implementations
• Proficient in Salesforce technologies: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, APIs
• Expertise in enterprise integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs and middleware such as Informatica, MuleSoft, or TIBCO
• Strong understanding of data modeling, integration patterns, and cloud architecture principles
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
