Systems Engineer - Linux focus (USC only)

Notes

• Administer and maintain enterprise Linux servers with a focus on RHEL
• Perform patching, upgrades, system hardening, and OS lifecycle management
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity across Linux platforms
• Manage security controls including SSH, SELinux, firewalls, PAM, certificates, and access controls
• 5-8 years of enterprise Linux administration experience
• Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) required
• Experience supporting Ubuntu and other Linux distributions
• Linux patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and security hardening
• Experience with VMware and virtualized environments
• Scripting/automation using Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar

Nice to Have

• CIS, STIG, SCAP, NIST compliance experience
• Cloud and hybrid infrastructure experience
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity support
• Red Hat certifications
