Systems Executive, Intelligent Platforms

Job Type: Full-time, shift work (12-hour shifts)
Experience: 1+ years (entry-level applicants with relevant skills are welcome)

We’re looking for a Systems Executive to join our Intelligent Platforms team. You’ll provide operational support for our system infrastructure, assist our clients, and resolve technical issues. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting and working with messaging and infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support and technical assistance to customers
• Identify and escalate priority issues according to client specifications
• Process client service requests and redirect problems to the appropriate resource
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via phone, email and web-based tools
• Advise customers on proper product use and address specific user issues
• Act as the liaison between customers and Tier 2 support for problem escalation
• Perform mailbox migrations between Exchange systems, and from other vendors to Exchange, following procedure to ensure seamless transitions
• Perform health checks and monitor the availability and functionality of systems
• Provide operational support to system infrastructure
• Support documentation, including procedural documentation

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 1-2 years of experience with, or familiarity with, troubleshooting the following:
• Red Hat Linux
• VMware
• Google Apps
• SMTP (Internet mail routing protocol)
• DNS
• OWA (Outlook Web App)
• Message transport and mail routing
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts
• Willingness to be on 24x7 standby

Pay: $3,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
