Systems Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a Systems Infrastructure Engineer to help design, operate, and improve our on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure. You’ll maintain secure, reliable Windows and Linux platforms, support business-critical systems, and work with engineering teams to modernize infrastructure and improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, including upgrades, patching, security remediation, and recovery.
• Deploy and support infrastructure in Azure and AWS.
• Manage VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi environments, including virtual machines, snapshots, and datastores.
• Support databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MariaDB.
• Administer storage and backup solutions, such as Dell Unity, HPE 3PAR/Nimble, Veeam, and AWS services.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and service requests; coordinate with other teams to resolve issues.
• Support Docker and Kubernetes environments and help improve CI/CD workflows using GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD.
• Monitor availability, performance, security, and compliance; maintain documentation and activity reports.
• Contribute to infrastructure improvements, cloud adoption, and legacy-system migrations.

Qualifications

• Professional working proficiency in English
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience administering Windows and Linux operating systems.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting infrastructure services and responding to incidents.
• Experience with database administration, preferably Oracle and PostgreSQL; familiarity with SQL Server and MariaDB is an advantage.
• Experience with virtualization, storage, backup, and public-cloud environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
