Systems QA Analyst

We are looking for detail-oriented System QA Analyst to help ensure the quality and reliability of our web-based business applications.

In this role, you will work closely with Software Developers and other stakeholders to validate new features, reproduce reported issues, perform regression testing, and ensure that system enhancements meet business requirements before deployment. Key Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Replicate reported software issues and provide clear findings to the development team.
• Perform functional, regression, and user workflow testing to ensure system stability.
• Validate fixes before deployment and confirm that reported issues have been successfully resolved.
• Test business workflows, forms, reports, and application behavior against expected results.
• Document defects clearly, including steps to reproduce, expected results, actual results, screenshots, affected modules, and severity.
• Collaborate with developers, fellow QA Analysts, and business stakeholders during issue investigation and retesting.
• Maintain accurate testing records, including completed tests, failed validations, pending items, and retesting results.
• Prepare testing summaries, status updates, blockers, and QA handoff documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Application Support Testing.
• Experience testing web-based business applications.
• Knowledge of writing and executing: Test Cases, Test Scenarios and Regression Test Plans
• Experience documenting software defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Experience validating bug fixes and coordinating with developers during issue resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple testing tasks while providing timely status updates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing business systems such as Accounting, Payroll, Inventory, HRIS, ERP, or other internal workflow applications.
• Familiarity with applications built using Django, React.js, Next.js, or similar web technologies.
• Experience using bug tracking or project management tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile or fast-paced development environment.
