Systems Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a Systems Reliability Engineer to support the development, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex aerospace and defense systems.

This person will work alongside systems, electrical, mechanical, test, and software engineering teams to improve system reliability throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate understands how to identify potential failures, analyze root causes, and translate reliability findings into engineering improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Perform reliability analysis for complex aerospace and defense systems.
• Support FMEA/FMECA, FRACAS, root cause analysis, and corrective action activities.
• Develop and evaluate reliability, availability, and maintainability requirements.
• Analyze system and component failures to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Work with engineering teams during design reviews, integration, verification, and testing.
• Support reliability predictions, failure investigations, and lifecycle/sustainment activities.
• Communicate reliability risks and recommendations to technical stakeholders.
• Maintain engineering documentation related to reliability and system performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of a Secret security clearance
• Experience in reliability, systems engineering, maintainability, systems safety, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with aerospace, defense, avionics, aircraft, weapons, or other complex engineered systems.
• Understanding of reliability methodologies such as FMEA/FMECA, FRACAS, RCCA, or reliability prediction.
• Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Strong technical documentation, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Reliability work involving airborne or mission-critical systems.
• Systems engineering, requirements, verification, or validation experience.
• Hardware/software integration or system-level testing experience.
• Experience supporting products through development, testing, production, and sustainment.
