Systems Specialist | Microsoft & Network Security

Join an established financial services organisation investing in its technology infrastructure, with several improvements underway across servers, networks and hybrid systems. With new implementations and infrastructure projects on the horizon, this is an opportunity to contribute to a changing technical environment and build experience across a broad range of technologies.

You’ll join a small IT team where collaboration is direct, responsibilities are varied and your contribution is visible to senior management. With exposure to both on-premises and cloud-based systems, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical capabilities while supporting infrastructure improvements and maintaining reliable IT services.

This position is suited to an IT professional with a foundation in systems administration who wants to expand their knowledge of infrastructure and network security. You should be organised, proactive and comfortable troubleshooting issues independently, while recognising the importance of documentation, communication and teamwork.

You will:

• Maintain and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and hybrid infrastructure.
• Assist with firewall administration, network segmentation and infrastructure security.
• Support server implementations, system upgrades, patching, backups and disaster recovery.
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, maintain technical documentation and contribute to operational reporting.

Skills / Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure, particularly Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking and firewall administration experience, alongside strong organisational and communication skills.

Experience in financial services or another regulated environment would be advantageous.

Salary: €35,000 –€40,000 + benefits.
