Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Support Analyst G6 to join our IT Services team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, with a focus on networking, hardware, and service management. Your expertise will be vital in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, maintaining databases, and managing cloud and server environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive IT support, addressing networking and hardware issues efficiently.
• Manage and maintain IT service management processes to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SQL and database-related problems.
• Oversee cloud and server environments, ensuring their stability and security.
• Collaborate with team members to implement IT solutions and improvements.
• Document and report on system performance and support activities.

Requirements

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support roles.
• Proficiency in networking and IT hardware support.
• Strong knowledge of IT Service Management principles.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and server management.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

This Role will require you to take a lead role in implementing and delivering the NEC housing IT business System project. You will need to work with SBC’s IT colleagues, SBC’s Implementation partner, the IT system’s Supplier (NEC) and SBCs Housing service to ensure a coordinated approach is taken to delivering this project.
