What You’ll Do: A Day in the Life of a Systems/Console Technician

As a Systems/Console Technician , you will serve as the primary contact point for Information Services associates specific to operations tasks for both development and production systems. You will operate, monitor, execute, make modifications and schedule online and batch processes on both Mainframe and open systems platforms, meeting production and test schedules for Western & Southern Financial Group systems.

Your Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Required :

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working in a large-scale Mainframe and/or Open Systems environment.
• Possesses working knowledge of operating systems, hardware devices, utility programs scheduling and batch processing.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to work 2nd shift – 3:30pm – 12:00am (midnight)
