About the role

You will be one of the first Resourcers in a new Philippines office for an education recruitment agency, working hand in hand with consultants in Australia. Your job is to find great teachers, work out whether they are right for Australian schools, and get them in front of the Australian team. You will have real ownership from day one with no long queue of people above you and no rigid script.

Key responsibilities

• Headhunt qualified teachers using LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search and the candidate database.
• Work Seek Talent Search daily, chasing and re-engaging teachers who match live vacancies at schools.
• Write and post job advertisements across job boards and social channels, then track performance and refresh what is not working.
• Build presence on social media including LinkedIn, Facebook teacher groups, Instagram and TikTok to attract teachers.
• Screen candidates over the phone, covering qualifications, teacher registration, right to work, availability, and year levels and subjects they are strongest in.
• Encourage suitable candidates to complete registration pack, including digital interview and reference checks, or interview them over the phone.
• Prepare clear, punchy candidate summaries and shortlists for Australian consultants to present to schools.
• Grow and maintain talent pools across Primary, Middle, Secondary and Special Needs teaching.
• Find new ways to source candidates through teacher forums, referral campaigns, university and training provider partnerships, and overseas markets.
• Organise new applicants on database, filing them into the right folders so anyone on the team can find the right teacher quickly.

About you

• 3+ years of experience as a Resourcer, Sourcing Specialist, Talent Acquisition Associate or similar, ideally supporting an Australian, UK or US market.
• At least 1+ years of Recruitment experience within the education industry (sourcing educators or teachers).
• Hands on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter (essential).
• Confidence using social media as a sourcing tool.
• Familiarity with Seek and Seek Talent Search in particular, or other Job Boards.
• Excellent written English and spoken English.
• Comfortable with high volume outreach and picking up the phone.
• Genuinely curious and inventive.
• Self motivated and able to work well with a team based in another country.
• Able to work Australian Eastern Standard Time business hours.
