Table Concierge

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and will be responsible for ensuring a memorable dining experience for our patrons. As a Server, you will play a vital role in our restaurant's success by delivering high-quality food service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, utilizing the OpenTable system when necessary.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and dietary options.
• Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
• Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Process payments using the cash register, handling transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Uphold health and safety standards in food handling and sanitation practices.
• Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience, providing assistance as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong guest service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items is advantageous.
• Experience with sales techniques to promote menu items effectively is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
