Tableau Architect

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Tableau architecture, data modeling, dashboard design, performance optimization, and stakeholder management, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-level Tableau BI architecture and analytics solutions.
• Lead the development of complex, interactive, and high-performance Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Define best practices, governance frameworks, and security standards for Tableau environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend data visualization strategies.
• Optimize Tableau workbooks, extracts, and server performance for large datasets.
• Design and implement data models, data marts, and semantic layers to support reporting needs.
• Integrate Tableau with various data sources including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and data warehouses.
• 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Tableau Development and Architecture.

• Tableau Desktop
• Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud
• Tableau Prep
• Data Visualization & Storytelling
• Dashboard Performance Optimization
• Data Modeling
• SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience integrating Tableau with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and access control frameworks.
