Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Programmer/Developer with strong expertise in Tableau, SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS to support application development, data integration, reporting, and legacy system modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Tableau reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and optimize database performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain SSIS ETL/ELT packages and data pipelines.
• Support data migration, conversion, cleansing, validation, and integration across legacy and modern systems.
• Work with SQL Server, DB2, and relational database architectures.
• Develop and maintain SSRS reports and reporting solutions.
• Configure and deploy SSIS packages using Git, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and SQL Server Agent.
• Perform data mapping, reconciliation, error handling, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall relevant IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Tableau.
• 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• 5+ years of experience with T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, or Talend.
• Experience with SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL development, data migration, and data modeling.
• Experience deploying SSIS packages, configuring environment variables, and creating SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git or TFS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience with MuleSoft.
• Experience with DB2, SharePoint reporting, and data warehouse solutions.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be local to the Hartford, CT area.
• Must be available to work onsite one day per week or two days every two weeks.
• Must be available for an in-person or webcam interview.
