Tableau Developer withPulse- Hyderabad- Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Data warehouse concepts and Data modelling principles

• Execute the entire project life cycle from Analysis, Development, Testing, Production and end user support

• Gather business requirements, collect data from different data sources, generate metrics, build reports, provide data insights and document the process.

• Perform mapping of data sources, data movement, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data quality using ETL Methodologies and tools

• Excellent ability in using MS Office Suit incl Visual Basic Applications (VBA) Scripting for simplified reporting, visualization and process automations

• Use Adobe Analytics and Tableau to develop and deliver metrics dashboards as well as standardized, custom, and ad hoc reporting for key stakeholders

• Should have experience with Tableau Pulse, Tableau Agent, and Tableau Cloud functionalities to enhance and improve existing reporting using the latest Tableau features.

• Identify distinctions in data to optimize analysis and findings

• Manage expectations and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely delivery of results

• Work with Analytics leadership to identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives

• Extract data from the firms knowledge portals, web tracking tools, and other sources on a periodic basis

• Prepare spreadsheets, Prep flows, SQL queries, and Tableau dashboards that perform calculations to allow data to be viewed across many parameters

• Build data flows in Tableau Prep or SSIS packages as per the detailed design provided and publish data sources to Tableau Server

• Execute the pre QA test scripts to confirm the validity of the inputs received

• Respond to ad hoc metrics queries by providing standard templated reports

• Ensure the accuracy of metrics by performing detailed quality reviews, data testing, and technical troubleshooting for Level-1 issues

• Create, build and deliver specific custom analysis projects as determined by needs of the business

• Build new reports based on end user needs to make the process more efficient and improve accuracy level

• Create automated interactive dashboards and applications for reporting using Tableau and Adobe Analytics

• Visual presentation of quantitative information through tools such as PowerPoint and Tableau

• Manage end to end surveys and practitioner outreach activities including designing and rolling out surveys, monitoring results, closing surveys, tracking and reporting results

• Ability to interact with customers to present standard offerings, insights and findings

• Construct complex flows in Tableau Prep or build SSIS packages to compile the data for Distribution Lists for practitioner outreach activities

• Able to build and maintain complex flows in Tableau Prep builder / ETL tools is preferred

• Able to work through Tableau Pulse and Tableau Agent to improvise existing reporting

• Support stakeholders to implement processes, standards, and guidelines

• Strong ability to apply analytic and critical thinking skills

• Strong project management and time management skills; ability to work independently on multiple, concurrent assignments while ensuring both high quality and on-time delivery

• Able to identify, research and gather relevant information from a variety of sources

• Able to synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data and integrate into meaningful reports and recommendations

• Able to build productive working relationships with internal stakeholders across business areas and geographies

• Able to navigate a global, matrixed, and often virtual environment for effective outcomes

• Able to successfully drive projects toward objectives, at times with limited information

• Gather project requirements from project lead

• Assist project lead in small projects or assigned to phase(s) of larger project(s). involving insight analysis, product usage analysis etc

• Analyze project requirements and coordinate with project lead to deliver projects

• Partner with other teams as needed to provide comprehensive and accurate response to client requests; assist in peer review of deliverables, as needed.

• Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills

• Proactively highlight risks and opportunities to leads

• Train Analysts on technical skills, process knowledge

• Perform quality audit of Analysts' work and ensures SLA adherence

• Peer review the deliverables of Analysts and other Sr. Analysts on the team

• Support or guide Analysts to clarify requests, ensure accurate understanding of scope, manage client expectations on available content and offer recommendations on effective representation of content

Qualifications

• Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, e.g., Data Analytics, Computer Science, IT, Information Systems Bachelor’s Degree

• MA, MS, or MBA required

• Years of Experience:

• 3-6 years of overall experience

• 2-3 years of experience in data analytics, data strategy, and reporting
