Tactical Retail Security

Synergy Protection Group Inc. is looking for dedicated and professional Tactical Retail Security Guards to join our team and help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our retail clients in the Greater Toronto Area.

SCHEDULE: Full- Time, Part-Time & Casual positions

The Role

As a Tactical Retail Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and orderly retail environment. Your presence, professionalism, and proactive approach will help prevent incidents while supporting a positive shopping experience for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a visible and professional security presence to deter theft and disruptive behavior.
• Respond to escalating situations safely and professionally
• Monitor store premises using surveillance systems and regular patrols.
• Greet and assist customers, offering directions and answering inquiries.
• Report and document incidents, maintenance issues, or safety hazards.
• Collaborate with store staff and management to address security concerns.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Minimum of 1 year of retail security experience
• Minimum of 1 year of tactical security experience
• Hands on experience highly preferred
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Professional attitude and reliable attendance
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
