Tai Chi Instructor

Pure Health and Fitness is looking for a Tai chi instructor to teach a weekly class at an assisted living facility.

Must have experience in teaching Tai chi and have a great personality to work with seniors and motivate them.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a safe, engaging weekly Tai Chi session tailored to seniors of varying mobility levels
• Demonstrate and adapt movements for seated or standing participants
• Foster a calm, inclusive, and encouraging environment
• Monitor participants for safety and provide modifications as needed
• Coordinate with staff regarding schedule and resident needs

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching Tai Chi, preferably with older adults or beginners
• Knowledge of senior fitness, fall prevention, or adaptive exercise techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Relevant certification (preferred but not required)

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
