Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Tailor to join our hotel team. The candidate will be responsible for alterations, repairs, stitching, and maintenance of guest garments, hotel uniforms, linen, and other textile items while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out stitching, alterations, repairs, and adjustments to hotel uniforms and garments.
• Repair and alter linen, curtains, upholstery fabrics, and other textile items as required.
• Take accurate measurements and ensure proper fitting of uniforms and garments.
• Operate sewing machines and other tailoring equipment safely and efficiently.
• Replace buttons, zippers, hooks, fasteners, and other garment accessories.
• Inspect garments and linen for defects, damage, or required repairs.
• Ensure completed work meets hotel quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tailoring/work area.
• Maintain proper care and use of sewing machines, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Laundry, and other departments regarding repair and alteration requirements.
• Complete assigned work within the required timeframe.
• Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and operational procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Tailor, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Previous hotel tailoring experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of sewing, stitching, alterations, and garment repairs.
• Experience handling hotel uniforms, linen, curtains, and other textile materials.
• Proficient in operating industrial and domestic sewing machines.
• Good knowledge of different fabrics and appropriate stitching techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Candidates must be currently available in the UAE and ready to join.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
• Experience with high-volume uniform alterations and linen repairs.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• UAE-based candidates are preferred.

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
