Tailor

Rosa Dame is looking for skilled and experienced Tailors to join our garment production team. We are seeking candidates with expertise in stitching women's westernwear, strong knowledge of garment construction, and excellent attention to detail.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in working with different fabrics, understanding garment patterns, and producing high-quality garments with neat stitching and professional finishing.

Key Responsibilities

• Stitch and construct women's westernwear, including dresses, tops, shirts, trousers, skirts, co-ord sets, and blazers.
• Work according to approved patterns, measurements, samples, and design specifications.
• Ensure accurate cutting alignment, stitching, fitting, and garment construction.
• Handle different fabrics, including cotton, linen, crepe, satin, polyester, denim, and other materials.
• Maintain high standards of stitching quality, finishing, and overall garment appearance.
• Perform garment alterations and corrections based on fitting and quality feedback.
• Coordinate with the sampling, design, and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Identify and resolve stitching, construction, and fitting issues.
• Complete assigned production targets within the required timelines.
• Maintain proper handling and care of sewing machines, equipment, and fabrics.
• Minimize fabric wastage and ensure efficient use of materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in women's westernwear stitching preferred.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, measurements, and stitching techniques.
• Experience working with industrial sewing machines.
• Ability to understand garment patterns and follow design instructions.
• Expertise in stitching and finishing different types of women's garments.
• Good understanding of fabric behavior and handling techniques.
• Ability to maintain consistent stitching quality and finishing standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Good time management and ability to meet production deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

• Previous experience working with a women's westernwear brand, garment manufacturing unit, or export house.
• Experience in stitching premium-quality garments.
• Knowledge of different garment finishing techniques.
• Ability to handle complex designs and garment construction.
• Experience in both sampling and bulk production will be an advantage.
