Role Description The Takaful Advisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Shah Alam, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. In this role, the advisor engages with prospects and existing participants to understand their financial protection needs and recommend suitable Takaful plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, conducting needs analysis, preparing and presenting proposals, and assisting with applications and policy servicing. The advisor maintains ongoing relationships with clients, provides regular reviews of their coverage, and supports claims-related inquiries. Additional tasks include participating in training sessions, staying updated on Takaful products and regulatory requirements, and contributing to sales and service targets in a professional and ethical manner.

Qualifications

• Ability to build strong client relationships, communicate clearly, and present financial concepts in an accessible manner.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and client service skills, with the motivation to meet and exceed performance targets.
• Basic understanding of financial planning, protection solutions, and Takaful or insurance concepts (training will be provided).
• Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage schedules for both onsite and remote work.
• Comfort with using digital tools for remote meetings, customer relationship management, and documentation.
• Minimum education at diploma or degree level in any field; backgrounds in finance, business, or related areas are an advantage.
• Ethical mindset and willingness to adhere to Shariah-compliant guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; ability to communicate in Malay or additional languages is beneficial.
