Duties

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation are top-notch
• Assist with food safety procedures, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
• Manage takeaway orders accurately using POS systems, ensuring timely and correct delivery to customers
• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, answering questions and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and order pickup areas throughout your shift
• Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all orders are prepared promptly and accurately

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is highly desirable
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent time management skills
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations
• Experience in serving or upselling menu items is a plus but not required
• Kitchen or culinary experience will be considered an asset for this energetic role
