Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant reservation systems and takeout orders with accuracy and efficiency using restaurant table management and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to assist guests with their orders and inquiries.
• Coordinate takeout orders, ensuring they are prepared correctly, packaged securely, and ready for timely pickup or delivery.
• Provide outstanding guest services by addressing customer questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive guest relations throughout the ordering process.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the takeout area, adhering to food safety standards and restaurant policies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations.
• Keep detailed records of orders, payments, and customer interactions to support smooth daily operations.

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant reservation management, host/hostess roles, or food service environments demonstrating strong guest service skills.
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and POS systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and professional phone etiquette to interact effectively with guests.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for handling payments accurately and managing order totals.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure proper handling and packaging of takeout items.
• Hospitality experience that emphasizes guest relations, customer service excellence, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $17.13 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
