Talent Acquisition Advisor

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to support a well-regarded independent school based in Brisbane’s bayside for an initial six-week temporary assignment.

Working three days per week, with flexibility around which days you work, this role will have a strong focus on managing end-to-end recruitment while also reviewing and streamlining existing recruitment processes.

You will provide a responsive, value-add service to hiring leaders and candidates, bringing structure, efficiency and a strong service mindset to the recruitment function. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across a range of school-based and corporate/support positions
• Partner with hiring leaders to understand recruitment requirements and provide practical advice throughout the process
• Coordinate advertising, screening, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks, offers and associated recruitment administration
• Deliver a warm, professional and responsive experience for candidates and hiring leaders
• Review current recruitment processes and identify practical opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency
• Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and records, ensuring processes remain compliant and well organised

Skills, Experience and Qualities needed

• Previous experience managing end-to-end recruitment, ideally within an internal Talent Acquisition or HR environment
• Strong recruitment administration skills and exceptional attention to detail
• A genuine service mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships with hiring leaders and candidates
• Confidence working with manual processes and systems that may require additional administration
• An ability to quickly understand existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical solutions
