What they need

Team Leader - Talent Acquisition Delivery

The work you do here reaches further than your job description.

At CIMIC, we are the team behind the operating companies that deliver some of the most significant infrastructure projects across Australia and the Asia Pacific. We connect capability, expertise and services across the Group, helping CPB Contractors, UGL, Leighton Asia, Sedgman, Pacific Partnerships and EIC Activities focus on the work only they can do.

We are looking for a Team Leader - Talent Acquisition Delivery to join us. This role is for someone who wants to apply deep expertise across multiple operating companies. Someone who wants to influence outcomes beyond a single project or business. And someone who wants to work with specialists across one of the world's leading construction and infrastructure groups.

This role can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment delivery across a designated region, ensuring critical hiring needs are met

  • Translate workforce demand and project mobilisation requirements into practical recruitment strategies that deliver quality talent at scale.

  • Partner with project leaders, People & Culture Business Partners and workforce planning teams to provide market insights, hiring advice and delivery solutions.

  • Build capability within a team of Recruitment Advisors and Recruitment Coordinators, driving performance, consistency and accountability.

  • Drive operational excellence through strong governance, data integrity, process discipline and continuous improvement across talent acquisition delivery.

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated experience delivering recruitment outcomes across both white-collar and blue-collar workforce environments.

  • Proven success leading or mentoring recruitment teams within high-volume, project-based or operationally complex environments.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders across multiple business units.

  • Experience using workforce planning insights, recruitment data and labour market intelligence to inform decisions and improve outcomes.

  • A leadership approach grounded in accountability, ownership, integrity and delivery, with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

About CIMIC

We sit within one of the world's leading construction and infrastructure groups. ACS and HOCHTIEF. A network that spans major markets globally and is growing in the sectors that will define the next decade: AI and Digital Infrastructure, Defence and Security, Energy and Nuclear, and Critical Minerals.

One Group, One Team is how we work. Not duplicated functions, but shared capability and expertise applied consistently across the Group. Built on expertise. Delivered at scale.

What we offer

  • Career mobility across operating companies, sectors and functions, with pathways to CPB Contractors, UGL, Leighton Asia, Sedgman, Pacific Partnerships and EIC Activities.

  • Access to ACS University, providing leadership development, executive education and learning opportunities across the ACS global network.

  • A culture built on the Group Principles: Integrity, Accountability, Innovation and Delivery, with Safety underpinning everything.

  • The Accountable Leadership program, a Group-wide framework that creates shared language and shared standards for how we lead and perform.

  • The opportunity to work with specialists at the top of their fields, on projects and operations that reach communities and industries across Australia and beyond.
