What they need

Main Functions

As a Career/Talent Development Specialist, you won’t just support growth, you’ll help design the pathways that make it possible. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about personal development and empowering others, and who wants to build something that supports employee growth and progression.

We’re a team of 150+ colleagues, building the foundation for long-term success. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of that journey, creating scalable frameworks like job architecture, competency maps, and compensation, all of which are being created from the ground up.

And because growth never stands still, you’ll also refine and adapt these systems over time, ensuring they stay relevant, scalable, and impactful. Your work will shape how employees experience growth, progression, and belonging.

  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s job architecture, including job families, career levels, role classifications, competencies, and progression frameworks.
  • Create, standardize, and maintain job descriptions, ensuring consistency in role expectations, skills, responsibilities, and competencies across the organization.
  • Partner with business leaders to clarify roles, responsibilities, reporting structures, and organizational design needs that support business growth and workforce planning.
  • Design and manage competency-based career pathways and career development frameworks that support employee growth, internal mobility, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to identify development needs, assess skill gaps, and support Individual Development Plans (IDPs) through targeted learning solutions.
  • Design, coordinate, and administer learning and development programs that align with organizational priorities and employee development needs.
  • Create, maintain, and manage learning content, career development resources, and training materials within the company’s learning and talent management platforms.
  • Coordinate external training providers, certifications, and development programs while promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning across the organization.
  • Administer talent management systems, maintain accurate talent, learning, and career development records, and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and insights related to employee development, skills, training effectiveness, career progression, and internal mobility to support business decisions.
  • Support the Employee Success Team with other duties related to the employee life cycle, performance management, employee development, feedback reviews, compensation and special projects as needed.
  • Attend and represent the company at internal and external events, both nationally and internationally, as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
