Company Overview

At Cowshed Collective our mission is to create pioneering content that builds communities, drives culture, and challenges tradition. We want to entertain audiences, wherever they are, by making what they actually want to watch. We have a shared purpose: to build the new era of entertainment.

Role Purpose

The Talent Manager is responsible for independently managing a roster of talent, owning their day-to-day management, commercial opportunities and long-term career growth. The role leads brand partnerships and campaigns end to end, negotiates deals, and grows revenue for both talent and the agency. Working closely with the Talent Lead, the Talent Manager contributes to talent strategy and may line manage and develop Junior Talent Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day management of a roster of talent, acting as their main point of contact and building trusted, long-term relationships.
  • Develop and deliver career and growth strategies for each talent on the roster, aligned with their goals and the agency’s brand values.
  • Lead brand partnerships and campaigns end to end, from pitching and outreach through to negotiation, delivery and reporting.
  • Negotiate fees, usage, exclusivity and contract terms with brands and agencies, protecting the interests of talent and the agency.
  • Proactively generate new commercial opportunities, building a strong network of brand and agency contacts to grow revenue for the roster.
  • Manage campaign budgets and deadlines, ensuring all deliverables are met to a high standard.
  • Analyse campaign performance and turn results into clear insights and recommendations for talent, clients and internal teams.
  • Identify, assess and sign new talent, leading their onboarding to ensure they are aligned with the agency’s vision and brand values.
  • Line manage, coach and develop Junior Talent Managers where required, including setting objectives, delegating work and supporting their growth.
  • Partner with internal teams (creative, production and partnerships) to deliver seamless campaigns.
  • Represent the agency and roster at shoots, events and industry functions, acting as an ambassador for both the company and talent.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept of contracts, campaign deliverables and financial information.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity and platform changes, and shape improvements to processes, talent strategy and commercial approach.
