DEI Tech Solutions specialises in Talent Solutions and Cultural Strategy across the digital and technology sectors. We help organisations secure the hard-to-find, high-impact IT talent that moves their business, partnering with growing technology teams in enterprise and Government.

That means you'd have direct access to the people making the decisions, complete autonomy over how you run your desk, and a genuine say in where the business goes next. It also means there's a warm client base and a candidate network built over a decade already sitting there for you to work from.

Three days. We mean three days.
Not three days with a laptop open on Thursday night. Targets, KPIs and remuneration are all set pro-rata. You set the pattern of days around whatever else is in your life we only ask that it's consistent, so clients and candidates know when they can reach you.
That's the point of this role. If we wanted five days, we'd have advertised five days.

What the job actually is
This is about market intelligence as much as it's about people.
You'll build and hold talent pools across the hardest-to-find skill sets in tech. Knowing who's out there before a client has an open role. Having relationships deep enough that when the brief lands, you're not starting from zero.
You'll grow client relationships the same way, deliberately, through meetings, events, introductions and referrals. We're not asking you to work a call list. The phone is how you stay in touch with people you know, not how we expect you to build this desk.

Who we're looking for
Five-plus years in talent solutions, search or specialist tech recruitment in the Australian market. You've owned a desk and you're comfortable being accountable for it.
More than that, we're looking for someone who reads people well. This role puts you in front of senior stakeholders in unscripted situations, a first client meeting, a hard conversation about a counter-offer, a room full of strangers at an event. That kind of judgement tends to come from a broad working life, not just from years on a recruitment desk. If that's what you bring, we'd like to hear from you.
You'll also need to genuinely enjoy getting out of the office. Meetings, meetups, vendor functions, client sites. It's a real part of this job, not a line we've padded the ad with.
