What they need
Tandoor Chef – Punjabi Cuisine
We are looking for an experienced Tandoor Chef with strong knowledge of authentic Punjabi cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Punjabi tandoori dishes such as Tandoori Chicken, Tikka, Seekh Kebab, Paneer Tikka and other grilled items.
- Prepare Naan, Roti, Kulcha, Laccha Paratha and other Indian breads.
- Handle tandoor operations, marinades and mise-en-place.
- Maintain consistent taste, quality, presentation and portion control.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen SOPs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the tandoor section and minimize wastage.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Tandoor Chef experience in Punjabi/Indian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of tandoor cooking and Punjabi spices/marinades.
- Ability to work independently in a busy kitchen.
- Good hygiene, teamwork and discipline
