Tandoor Chef

Job Purpose

To prepare high-quality tandoor items, especially Regag Bread and Tandoor Roti, ensuring authentic taste, consistent quality, proper cooking, and compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Regag Bread, Tandoor Roti, and other tandoor items as per company recipes and standards.
• Ensure proper dough preparation, consistency, portioning, and cooking techniques.
• Operate and maintain the tandoor safely and efficiently.
• Ensure food quality, taste, texture, freshness, and presentation.
• Maintain proper food handling, hygiene, and cleanliness in the assigned work area.
• Monitor ingredient stock, minimize food waste, and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow food safety procedures, kitchen SOPs, and temperature control requirements.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service.
• Clean and maintain tandoor equipment and utensils after use.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef in a restaurant or similar food service establishment.
• Strong practical knowledge of preparing Regag Bread and Tandoor Roti is essential.
• Knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and traditional tandoor cooking techniques.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistent food quality.
• Good teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
